My ode to you, Mr Tom Ford

Slipping my first arm in its sleeve, then the other. I tugged at the collar and closed the first, second and third button. Before looking in the mirror I already felt - this black jacket that appeared ordinary on the hangar was made with me in mind. Each panel, each stitch, the fabric clinging to the curvature in my back, the feel, the fit, the feeling that it aroused in me. This was no ordinary jacket. This was Gucci or best said by Madonna,‘Gucci, Gucci, Gucci’.  This was where my love of Tom Ford began when he reigned at Gucci!

Tom Ford. The epitome of luxury. It makes you covet, envy, desire, dream to own, to have. Whether he dresses Naomi Watts or Justin Timberlake, I still lust at what either sex are wearing. It is the crisp sharp tailoring of his suits and the architecture and fluidity in his dresses. Immortalized forever in a song by Jay Z, 'I rock Tom Ford’.

Behold the risk taker. Starting his own fashion label in 2004, then opening his film company Fade To Black in 2005. He directed, produced and co-wrote his first movie, ‘A Single Man’ winning critical acclaim and a nomination for best actor.

He continues to showcase the very best in hyper luxury and has won numerous awards for his work in fashion.

He is the perfect, most beautiful ambassador of his brand and I live by his quote, ‘’Dressing well is a form of good manners”.
