2014, A year to remember.....

What will your memories of 2014 be, will it be your favourite purchase ( the Louis Vuitton Sac Platt and Chanel red bum bag), your most memorable encounter (  Tom Ford at Harrods when I went to see Santa . I didn't know that Santa made wishes come true before you saw him to ask) or was it your favourite 'find' ?(Gucci trouser suit at the charity shop )

Will your memory be of moments shared with family and friends (day to day living/life), or places visited (vacation) ,events you participated in? (Cancer Research race for life with big sis)
Your best song ? (Beyonce all the time)Your best fashion moment? ( the madness of them all!)Your biggest laugh?(still having it ) ....Your saddest cry?(injustice).

2014 has been an awesome year for me  as I was able to 'document' my fashion on this blog.
The love of fashion is my core, the tick to my tock but its not my everything.
I am still trying to find my 'belonging'. I am still trying to get to where I still dont know I need to get to. I am still believing that 'somewhere'is where I am supposed to be.
I am 'watching this space'. In the mean time, I am thankful for excellent health. A  family that 'completes me' and the guts to keep trying.
2015 I look forward to the challenge of uncertainty, of trying something new and of continuing to being the very best of me!

Fashion Rules Exhibition

Featuring rare and exquisite dresses from HM Queen Elizabeth II, Princess Margaret and Diana, Princess of Wales, this exhibition will provide a feast for the eyes and a nostalgic glance back at recent decades. Elegant dress displays will explore how these royal figures were representative of the spirit of each decade, reflecting and inspiring everyday fashions. Photography and film footage will take us back to the optimistic 1950s, rebellious 1960s and 70s, through to the extravagant 80s.

You had me at Hello Mr Ford

Another showstopper from Mr Ford.
We looked at each other across the room and there was that instant connection. It was love.
'Mi amore , at last we meet'.

Pradasphere at Harrods

Pradasphere , an exhibition at Harrods that celebrates Prada's iconic pieces over the last 100 years.  Bask in the moment as you see some of the pieces that you have hanging in your closet on display in all its glory!
The fun, fabulous staff are also on hand to give you a guided tour and talk you through the very intricate work that is involved in the production of every item.
How can you beat a day out at Harrods as well as seeing this amazing exhibition!
Education sorted. You may thank me later.

Glamour of Italian Fashion 1945 - 2014

What an awesome day out the golden mask had when we attended the
The Glamour of Italian Fashion exhibition at the V&A museum sponsored by Bulgari.
What a great collection. I love attending exhibitions not only to view but to see the vast array of people that attend and eaves drop on the many conversations on how people relate to what they see.
Italian Fashion was best summed up by Giorgio Armani who said, 'To create something exceptional, your mindset must be relentlessly focused on the smallest detail'
Amen.
