Bienvenue au Moulin Rouge
I love the simple sexiness of the dress with the 'come #***# me' feel of the shoes.
'You could count on one hand the number of fashion houses that enjoy the
mass name recognition that Versace does across the globe. Today, under
the leadership of Donatella Versace just
as in the eighties and nineties when the brand was run by her brother,
Gianni it is a universal symbol of all that is glamorous and decadent.
Versace doesn’t make clothes that are avant-garde, arty, or untouchably
elegant; it makes clothes for red-carpet photo calls in Cannes and
parties aboard a rap mogul’s mega-yacht at anchor in Monaco.' Voguepedia

Patrizia Pepe - This is a designer I covet. I have been collecting their pieces for over 15 years. It all started for me in New York and the lust and crave for all things Patrizia Pepe continues.
The Patrizia Pepe brand was founded in Florence in 1993.
The protagonists are a couple of entrepreneurs: Patrizia Bambi, the creative and stylistic spirit and Claudio Orrea, head of management and administration.
The Patrizia Pepe brand evolved from another of their creations, the Tessilform textile manufacturing company. The brand is based on a particularly successful philosophy; Patrizia Bambi pays great attention to the fashion universe and the market where she presents her ideal man and woman.
Her collections manifest well groomed minimalism combined with a passion for details. Her clothing style is based on harmony, suppleness, character. Practical and original for every moment of the day, whilst also being unfailingly elegant and modern for every moment of the night.
New York - Concrete jungle where dreams are made from, where something inspires you....

“When I started my line, there was a void in the marketplace,” Karan said in 1994. “Everyone was doing ball gowns, pouf skirts, and Christian Lacroix, and the executive woman was having to wear a bow tie and sneakers to work. Ridiculous!”

Marc Jacobs-'Clothes mean nothing until someone lives in them'
SOLD
"I think it's an old fashioned notion that fashion needs to be exclusive to be fashionable. I think there is a part of fashion that is certainly work that we do in both places [Marc Jacobs and Louis Vuitton] that are very, very high end, and their rarity is what makes them so desirable because they are limited or produced in such small numbers and they are very unreachable to most people, but then we also love, at Marc Jacobs, to do things like key rings and flip-flops that are available to just about anybody. I mean, they are very honest products with very low price tags and I think its much more modern to cover both ends of the spectrum." Marc Jacobs

The musings of Moschino
Stunning Moschino Padlock belt -size 42...SOLD
Beautiful patent belt with gold padlock ,key and chain.
Founded by Franco Moschino in 1983, the Moschino label is known for its irreverent, surreal take on fashion. Through the years, the collections have often included tongue-in-cheek items like a cashmere jacket reading “rich bitch” or a T-shirt sporting a television tuned to “Channel No. 5” (for which Chanel sued). Rossella Jardini has served as the label’s creative director since Moschino’s death in 1994, turning out playful, wearable collections. Over the years, the brand has expanded to include the younger Moschino Cheap & Chic line, the Love Moschino denim line, fragrance, lingerie, and accessories.

Alexander McQueen Iconic Black Stilettoes
Alexander McQueen's Iconic black toe cast stilettos as immortalized in Alexander McQueen's , Alexander McQueen:Savage Beauty
Get your hands on the new Alexander McQueen book 'Working Process' by Nick Waplington.
When photographer Nick Waplington (known, but not famous, for his gritty reportages depicting life from Israel's West Bank to a Nottingham housing estate) was approached by Lee Alexander McQueen to document the making of his Horn of Plenty collection, he was flattered - but the timing was wrong.
"I got a call saying, 'Lee wants to see you' - we knew each other, and he knew my work - so I thought I'd go and see what he wanted," the photographer explains. "He knew I specialised in photo books and that I shot working-class families, industrial landscapes; I was living in Israel at the time - and he told me that he wanted me to document the making of a collection. I said sure, in a couple of years I would, but he said no, that it had to be me and it had to be now - this collection. He saw it as a turning point.
He explained the idea behind the Horn of Plenty collection, and why he wanted to document this collection particularly," Waplington continues. "He said he saw it as closing the door on his first 15 years; he saw it as his last collection as a young man. The set was a pile of garbage made up of his old sets, he used models who he'd used before, even the jewellery; everything was about recycling, renewal. It was a comment on the economy at the time, I think, as well as the industry generally."
